Chapter Philanthropy

Tri Sigma- Beta Alpha is proud to support our philanthropy through many amazing fundraising events and activities!

Spaghetti with Sigmas
Every year, our whole chapter comes together to put on a huge spaghetti dinner for Greek and other organizations to stop in. We work together on banners, decorations, music, and, of course, cooking spaghetti! This is not only one of our favorite events, but one where we get an amazing turn-out! 

Soak-a-Sigma
In the warm late summer/early fall months, we get out a dunk tank and anyone who wants to can come by and have the opportunity to splash our girls into the water. This fall, we were lucky enough to partner with Delta Chi Fraternity to put on our Tri/Chi Carnival, including a car smash, pie-a-Tri/Chi, and of course our beloved dunk tank. 

Sigma Night Live 
For the first time ever in Spring of 2023, we put on “Sigma Night Live” a huge Philanthropy event where organizations from all over campus came and performed skits, sketches, music, dance, and more. We had our chapter and campus advisors as celebrity judges and fantastic prizes for the winners!

Womens TUGS
Every fall, the women of Greek Row compete in intense tug-of-war style matches against other sororities. This event is huge, bringing not only Sororities and Fraternities, but other students and faculty that are not a part of Greek Life. All the proceeds are donated to a local charity. 

Tri Sigma women are creative, thoughtful, and empowered by the opportunity to serve others. We love putting on Philanthropy events that are able to support our philanthropies, the Tri Sigma Foundation, the Robbie Page Memorial Fund, and March of Dimes.
