Some of my favorite memories at Tri Sigma include bid nights, big/little reveal (for both my big and my littles), and intramural football!

Kara Carr

I am currently a junior nursing major and have absolutely loved my time here at NIU. I am also involved in the Student Nurses Organization executive board, Northern Prairie Alliance, and Student Advisory Committee. I love to be involved and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities NIU and Tri Sigma has offered me during my time here. My favorite memories of Tri Sigma are 100% finding my littles. Sydnee Keller

Director of Member Development

My name is Sydnee Keller and I am the Director of Member Development (formally known as Education Director). I am a sophomore Biological Sciences major with the intentions to go to medical school. I joined Tri Sigma because these women instantly became my safe and supportive space. Some of my most important and memorable moments are shared with these women. I want to be able to show the women in my chapter you can have a healthy balance of social and school life while still being involved in the chapter! With all the new changes in this position, I can’t wait to start implementing many of my ideas. I hope to guide the women in Beta Alpha through any academic needs. I also hold the Awards and Touchstone Manager position. I’m extremely excited about this because both positions go hand in hand. I am most excited to be handing out the pearls that go on your pin on Founders Day. This award shows great recognition and achievement to the women in our chapter. My favorite memory while being in Tri Sigma is Bid Night. I was unaware that this would be the day I met my best friend and roommate. Another favorite memory of mine is the Women’s Tugs 2023 season. The bonds I got to build during that time with all the women is like no other and a time I will never forget.
